Customs Declarations UK is Exhibiting at Multimodal 2026

We are pleased to announce that Customs Declarations UK will be exhibiting at Multimodal 2026, the United Kingdom’s leading freight, logistics, and supply chain event. Taking place at the NEC Birmingham from 30 June to 2 July 2026, Multimodal brings together thousands of industry professionals, decision-makers, and technology providers from across the trade and logistics sector. You will find us in Hall 4 at Booth 9088.

This is our most significant exhibition appearance to date, and we are looking forward to meeting customers, prospects, freight forwarders, customs agents, hauliers, and businesses who are navigating the ever-evolving landscape of UK customs compliance.

About Our Platform

Customs Declarations UK is a cloud-based customs filing platform built for the realities of post-Brexit trade. Designed in close consultation with HMRC and integrated with the UK’s leading Community System Providers — CNS, MCP, and CCS-UK — our platform enables importers, exporters, freight forwarders, hauliers, and customs agents to prepare and submit declarations directly to HMRC’s Customs Declaration Service with confidence.

Our guided, wizard-based workflows take the complexity out of customs filing. Real-time compliance checks validate entries before submission, reducing errors and preventing costly rejections. Built-in templates, automated data population, and clone functionality help high-volume filers process declarations quickly and cost-effectively — without the need for specialist technical knowledge or third-party brokers. Whether you are filing CDS import declarations, CDS export declarations, or Entry Summary Declarations for safety and security purposes, our platform covers the full spectrum of customs requirements in a single, secure online environment.

We currently serve hundreds of businesses and power thousands of declarations every month, maintaining an excellent customer satisfaction record reflected in our Trustpilot reviews.

What We Will Be Showcasing at Multimodal 2026

This year at Multimodal, we will be demonstrating two significant additions to the Customs Declarations UK platform that reflect our ongoing investment in automation and compliance technology.

Intelligent Document Processing (IDP)

Our new Intelligent Document Processing capability brings AI-powered automation to the front end of the declarations workflow. Using advanced document extraction technology, the platform can ingest commercial documents — including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin — and automatically extract the relevant data from them. That data is then used to auto-populate the corresponding fields within the customs declaration, significantly reducing manual keying, accelerating the preparation process, and minimising the risk of transcription errors.

For freight forwarders and customs agents handling high declaration volumes, this capability addresses one of the most time-consuming parts of the filing process. Rather than re-entering data that already exists in shipping documentation, users can upload their documents and allow the platform to do the heavy lifting. The result is a faster, more accurate declaration prepared from source data — with the user retaining full control to review and confirm before submission.

New Customs Transit Solution — NCTS

We will also be showcasing our New Computerised Transit System (NCTS) solution, extending the Customs Declarations UK platform into the customs transit regime. NCTS governs the movement of goods under customs control between the United Kingdom and transit partner countries, suspending duty and VAT liabilities for the duration of the movement. Our NCTS module has been developed to the same standard as our established CDS and ENS services — guided workflows, real-time validation, and full integration with HMRC systems — enabling businesses engaged in transit movements to manage their NCTS filings alongside their import and export declarations within a single platform.
